SUMMARY:Synergy between Operations\, Maintenance & Safety processes\, supported by EAM software
DESCRIPTION:Webinar  powered by NVDO & Ultimo Software \nFriday 2 October\, 10.30-11.30 (CET)\n \nEvery asset-intensive organisation benefits from synergy. But are the data flows between Operations\, Maintenance and EHS seamlessly integrated? Your plant would benefit from optimal synergy where everyone works with the same truth\, the number of administrative actions are limited to a minimum and island automation is not an issue. \n\nIn practice\, you are confronted every day with situations in which this synergy is vitally important. What if a near-miss occurs during the shift handover\, which requires further investigation. The investigation results in an improvement action by the technical service. And this adjustment in turn requires a formal change process\, including a work order that requires a work permit and a Lockout Tagout plan. It is important that this process is integrated seamlessly\, is easy to keep track of and can be analysed later. Every step supported by a user-friendly graphic planning and an accessible mobile solution. It sounds too good to be true\, right? \nControl costs and improve uptime\, safety and compliance simultaneously by increasing the synergy between the departments Maintenance\, Operations and EHS! \nIn the webinar we will tell you more about the advantages of a good integration between Operations\, Maintenance and EHS. We will also provide you with practical examples and an impression of the possibilities of Enterprise Asset Management software. This webinar will be in English. \nFor further information: click here \nREGISTER HERE\n \nThis special webinar will be organised in collaboration with Ultimo Software Solutions\, so your details will be shared.

SUMMARY:Webinar “Confined Space Entry”
DESCRIPTION:Closed Confined Spaces that require a special permit to work with\, demand extra attention. Workers cannot simply start working without being certain that they know all about the safety measurements that need to be taken. At the same time the management is responsible to make sure that all their workers and Maintenance Professionals will be ready to deal with  permit-required-confined spaces (PRCS) and will know what to do in case of an emergency. \nThe EFNMS– European Federation of National Maintenance Societies is organizing a webinar about “Confined Space Entry”. It will take place on May 6th\, 2019 (14:00 – 16:00 CET) and will be able to transfer knowledge to all interested participants\, about the importance of maintaining a safe behavior while working in PRCS\, what to do when they identify one and how they are supposed to proceed. \nSome of the most important topics of this training will be the following: \n\nHow to identify a confined space in the workplace with examples\nHow to distinguish whether a confined space is a PRCS\nHow to conduct a Risk Assessment by identifying the hazards\nHazardous atmospheres (toxic\, flammable\, asphyxiating etc.)\nWhat does a Safe Method of Work in a PRCS include\nWhat type of measurements must be conducted prior to entry and in what order\n\nThe trainer\, Dr. George Scroubelos is the Chairman of the EFNMS OH&S Committee\, has a lot of experience working in industrial plants and underground mining operations. \nFor your registration as well as for more information about the training\, you can click HERE. The only technical requirements for your participation in the webinar is a PC and internet access. \nPlease note that the members of the EFNMS have a 20% discount using the coupon: EFNMS2019.
